The Innocents Abroad: Or, the New Pilgrims' Progress by Mark Twain

5.0

I read this book while traveling alone through Italy in the summer of 2005. Instead of a human being, this book was my travel companion. Although it was written over a hundred years before my trip, Twain's humor was as fresh as if he had written it in 2005. Hilarious, especially the parts in which he mocked his fellow cruise-mates. A must-read on all European trips.
