After reading this entire collection, I'd say that Poe's more famous macabre works are my favorite and see why they have the most attention. The rest of the collection is hard to chew, at least for me. I had to skip Eureka entirely, as I just could not force myself to read his typical ramblings of this topic. The novel at the back of the collection was a fun read, with the same macabre and surreal of his short stories and poetry. I'm just sorry I read it after trying to read the rest in record time. I'll have to go back and reread the novel, and return to my favorite stories and poems, after a long break. Appreciate them with a less forced view.
