Normal People by Sally Rooney

4.75

The characters are lowkey infuriating because they won't just say how they feel (and stop sabotaging themselves) in a way that is infuriatingly human. We've all been these two people, at least parts of them, at some point in our lives. It was a beautiful book about love and friendship and life and growing up. Had to listen to it because the no quotation marks thing kinda freaks me out, but it was a wonderful book. Will be thinking about it for a while.
