This book was so unnecessarily fucking long. Unnecessary because the slow burn was poorly executed. Why poorly executed? Bro…

All the did was fuck. Now mind you I would not have minded that… had we actually been getting to know Seth too alongside all the fuckfest.

But at the end of this book, I knew next to NOTHING about Seth as a character. He read more like a cameo than a main character—that’s how bad the writing was. All he did was answer Erin’s booty calls and fuck her. That’s literally fucking it. The author tried to show to us the readers how he gradually fell in love with Erin with every booty call by WAXING POETIC ABOUT HIS EYES SOFTENING AND JAW CLENCHING but it was far. From. Enough??? We needed to know who he was as a character too, but I guess that was too tall an order??
