Blythe is struggling with burn out after dedicating her life to working towards a career as a Doctor so she can give her family a better life. Her family misses her and with her bestfriend help, after an incident, they talk her in to a much needed vacation to rest back in her home town for the holidays. She sines much more than she thought she would in here trip home.

Gage is the rough and tough Cowboy that the guys on the ranch listen to like the "boss".  He moved to small town Texas to start over and has kept to himself since. He has grown affected to the guys at the bunkhouse but has still kept his past private… for good reason.  The last thing he expected was the way his best friends sister would make that all change.

These two kept me hooked from the start! The writing wag amazing especially for a debut novel. I felt Blythe a Gage’s story played out beautifully, but the side characters left me begging for more! I cannot wait for the rest of this series!
