The only reason this isn't 5 stars is some unchallenged content that can be largely attributed to societal views at time of publication. Everything else is just too good. The language can be hard to understand at times but the themes, imagery used, references to other parts of the text, characters, language (when you take time to understand it) and rlly good execution of a tragedy arc outshine that. I am so in love with this book omg.
Graphic: Death, Violence, Grief, and Abandonment
Moderate: Misogyny, Sexism, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Blood, and Suicide attempt
Minor: Transphobia and Death of parent
