It was terrible. After the first book I was hoping incest was an one time thing, but even with this cringe worthy subplot it could be a good book if characters otherwise were interesting and had some worthy development. Instead most of them are incompetent idiots, even thought they are described as best in the empire. Vree instead of subduing sleeping man (tying him up or knocking him or using some drugs) she's starring at him until he wakes up and kick her ass. Neegan not once but twice failed because he didn't expect that his target wouldn't resist.

And don't get me started on completely normal romance subplot between 20 years old girl and 130+ years old man.
