The Atlas Complex by Olivie Blake

3.75

Overall really enjoyed the series and the characters. Didn't LOVE the ending but it wasn't terrible. Will say I ended up not liking Libby again (started liking her in the 2nd book but this one made me dislike or not really care for her all over again. Not necessarily a badly written character but she was just frustrating/annoying at a lot of parts for me), didn't really care for Nico again (he was just sort of annoying and lacked depth for me throughout), still wished there was more from Reina in terms of character development/depth (felt like she was the least fleshed out even though she had interesting magic and an interesting/important goal), and still loved Tristan, Callum, and Parisa who were all the more fledged out of the 6 along with Libby. I enjoyed seeing all their interpersonal interactions and feelings with each other and the complexity of them. It does get long winded and draggy with all the more minor characters, especially with the Ezra 6 whom I just didn't really give two shits about tbh. The first half is pretty slow then it picks up at the back half. Def recommend having audio assistance along with the physical or digital book because without audio, I don't think I would've gotten through it. I think some of it could've been cut and still kept all the important or critical bits.
