I have been in love with City of Glass for years now, but both other stories in this trilogy completely recontextualize everything I thought I knew about that book. This is an incredible work of metafiction with a detective story focus, everything hinging around the act and nature of writing and language itself. Mind-boggling in all the best ways, there are so many routes through these stories—and the way in which they build and destroy one another—that I have yet to uncover. A truly brilliant piece of writing from someone who knows exactly what he is trying to do.
Moderate: Misogyny
