The Hanging City by Charlie N. Holmberg

This just wasn't it. For starters, there was just not much of an overall story here - a LOT of world building but for about 70% of the book, I kept wondering when something was actually going to happen. It was very uneventful, and when it did get eventful toward the end, it was underwhelming to say the least. I also feel as though the resolution with Lark's father was over way too quickly. For her to have been scared enough of him to run away and live with the trolls in the first place, he's defeated pretty quickly. I'm honestly not sure why I stuck it out to finish the book.
