This is a hard book to rate. It took me so long to finish it because I didn’t really feel compelled to pick it up. It took a lot of willpower for me to come back to the book. I didn’t want to DNF it because I thought it was a good story. 

And it was. It had a good plot and the characters are messy & flawed. The writing was good but not my favorite  (since I clearly didn’t want to read it fast).
