Unexpectedly emotional for the family aspects. This is a YA book with romantic relationships in it but it is not "a" romance, and it is not lighthearted even though it's not exactly dark. More like heavy with the themes of grief. I chose this for the multiverse aspect which provided unique and interesting format for the prose, and kept me engaged; the romantic content was just incidental bc the story has to be about *some*thing someone wants to do over.

The trigger warning I didnt know I needed that no book would provide: estranged-younger-brother/sibling-who-hurt-you-reaches-out-to-reconnect;
This had me sobbing.

"I love him and im furious and i dont trust him but I can tell he loves me"
