It’s the perfect amount of bizarre that any criticism I start to chew on, it almost makes me love it more. Yes it’s strange but in a way that feels like an extreme hyperbole very kate berlant. I would have been interested for the mlm stuff to be a bigger part of the plot but at the same time I think it’s stronger bc it’s literally just a background mess that’s so horribly normal in comparison with her situation that it’s like a blip on the radar. I hate how gross and violent parts were but at the same time that’s the point. Idk it worked for me!
