The Rogue by Trudi Canavan
4.0
Much like the previous books in the series, the plot is so good!! At times I can predict what is going to happen, but I love how fantasy driven Canavan’s books are. While they lack the romance of the current YA Fantasy books I’ve been reading, I appreciate a book with only fantasy at its core.
The idea of an alliance being formed between the Kyralians & the Traitors is certainly interesting considering their stance on Black Magic, but as of late they now have 4 Black Magic Magicians…
The plot was supposed to be focused on the pursuit of the Theif, Skellin, but he deigned to feature at all!
I was also disappointed but not surprised that Sonea rejected Dorrien - because she respects herself and him, not to get involved with a married father!!
I hope she finds love like she had with Akkarin, she deserves that after everything she has been through and had to sacrifice.
Onto the final book of the series
