I don't usually read poetry but that is certainly about to change after reading this.
Danez Smith really can convey every emotion of being black, queer, and HIV positive in these poems and do it well even if I don't personally relate to it I can feel his pain and anger and life.
Truly truly amazing. I want to reread it and definitely will.
Everyone should pick this up and read it.
