Orphan at My Door: The Home Child Diary of Victoria Cope by Jean Little

5.0

Once again history brought to life in a way where kids won’t realizing they are learning history. I actually had never heard of Home Children before so I personally found this fascinating. Little is a truly gifted author and she brings this piece of history to life. Story is filled with intriguing characters that feel real and have flaws. Diary format makes it a good choice for those with various reading levels.
