Came With The Frame by Aron Beauregard

4.5

A photographer with a macabre appetite is gifted an antic frame by his girlfriend. But when he realized there is something strange with the stock photo inside, he will start to question his sanity.

I liked this book a lot. The premise but also the development of the plot were really good. This wasn't only brutality and gore (even if it wasn’t lacking regarding this aspect) but it was creepy and bizarre. This book made me question what was going on until the very end. For such a short novella, this is a really good one with a solid story.

I am excited to read the two others books and see what deranged and morbid stories awaits.
