Trigger warnings on this are no joke, this book is brutally dark. These are two incredibly fucked up characters, but these boys are perfect for each other. This is a fantastic take on hurt/comfort. Best gay dark romance novella I've read. I only wish this ever clarified the characters ages, I think they are in their last year of high school so parts of just how much they physically hurt each other felt a touch ick. I am just going to continue pretending they are for sure over 18, but really life has fucked both of them over enough that partaking in kink under 18 would be close to the least shitty part of their lives.
