“Because love like that - the unconditional kind that comes straight from the heart - isn’t easy to find. I would know after searching for it and failing miserably since he left.”
Cal is my favourite brother out of the three. I didn’t expect to enjoy this book as much as I did; mainly because I’m not a fan of second chance romances but this was my favourite out of the whole series.
This book covered the serious topic of addiction, really showing the good and bad moments.
I devoured this book like crazy.
Even with Cal being the ‘sunshine’ brother, there are so many more layers underneath the surface that you really don’t see about Cal and his struggle with addiction & we really got to see it in this book. His character growth !!!! OMG I just loved it & this man is POSSESSIVE AF!!
And Ms Alana !!!!!!! This woman is so strong, independent and selfless, and the way she just puts everyone in their place and stands her ground.
This woman also made sure that Cal became the man she deserved! Like a woman who doesn’t settle for the bare minimum? Um yes please.
Also this made me an emotional wreck. I SOBBED, SCREAMED, GASPED & GIGGLED. So much emotions throughout this book
I’m really sad that this is the end of Dreamland Billionaires but I can’t wait to read more of Lauren’s work in the future.
Like I said; I don’t usually enjoy second chance romances but books like these are really making me a fan of them these days!
