It was pretty surface level and uncomplicated but a fun trounce through a cozy pnw magic town with hot boys and low stakes. I didn't immediately solve the mystery (got it maybe halfway through) but I'm dense sometimes so others would probably have it figured out sooner. I might actually check out the next one? It was nice to have something that wasn't looking to rip out my heart and put it in a blender (why do I do that to myself?). Anyway it's pretty straightforward so don't expect the greatest whodunnit of all time, but it was fun nonetheless and I liked the characters.
