This book is definitely for people who are interested in microbiology, but it doesn’t require you to be an expert to enjoy it.
I love books like this: digestible science. It’s the gateway drug to more immersive science books, which, from personal experience, I recommend.
This is not the first digestible science book I’ve read, but this was the most specific. But it’s also an incredibly thoughtful book on the nature of microbiology in relation to who we are as people.
Highly recommend.
