Marked for Revenge: A Thriller by Emelie Schepp

3.0

The book suffers a bit from being the second one in a trilogy. There isn't really a clear start to the story (even though it is about a dope smuggler being found dead) and there isn't really a clear end. The front story of the Thai girls was interesting but didn't hold me in the same way as the front story in the first book. The back story, however, continued filling in the gaps and we get to know a bit more about Jana Berzelius. I find it interesting though that the women in this book really come out badly. None of them is particularly likable which isn't really something I would have expected from a female writer.
