I received this book through the Goodreads giveaway program. This does not in any way affect my review.
This was an intriguing short story that explored the duality of life and how you live when your life now is not the life that you need. There's almost an air of mourning and grief to this story.
I feel like I would've enjoyed this more though if I had read The Book of Speculation first, since this is clearly meant to build on that. I didn't realize that before reading though, so my fault.
I still liked this short story, and it definitely has increased my interest in The Book of Speculation.
