This was good! I feel like amnesia plotlines are hard to pull off nowadays bc they've kind of become cliche, but this one was really nice. I also find that I enjoy the storylines where Laurence and Temeraire are apart for a time, it reminds me that I love both of them as individual characters and also as a duo.
I feel like this whole series is just us furiously battling with our selves over being on Napoleon's side solely for his treatment of dragons ;aklsdjfl;skjdf. Seriously tho, fuck the British. I feel like Naomi Novik is a master class in nuance.
