The book was cute and fun, a nice light low-stakes read. In a way, this read as a coming out story - party of two. I really enjoyed the romance between Alex and Henry. I also appreciated many of the supporting characters. I found that they were well written.
I enjoyed the emails between the MC’s, and the quotes they found to say what they were feeling. They were fantastic!
I didn’t relate to Alex as much as I did to other characters, but I may not have been the target audience. 😅 I did love how all the characters actually acted their age.
M/M ya or na romance
Contemporary taking place around the 2020 election campaign. Politics were the back drop, not the story.
