This is a brilliant @hayfestival project that brought women's voices from every European country together with force, kindness and purpose.

It includes passionate essays, personal accounts as well as stunning imagery about our dear Europe. The theories and stories come with so many voices and forms that it's an intriguing read. For me, this blended effort was the most powerful element - like Europe, this book does not have just one story and the effect of the whole is stunning.

I loved it, I felt none of the writers skimmed over the flaws, they detailed them but balanced with joyous feelings of hope, strength, creativity and resilience. For me, Janne Teller's 'My Dream for Europe', although the most fanciful provided such a glittering image it's stuck in my head.
