The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch

5.0

The style of storytelling takes some time to get used to. The narration constantly jumps from present to past. But it was masterfully executed and it is a treat to read.

'Gentleman Bastard' is an apt title to describe Locke and his ragtag gang of thieves.

This is a story of revenge, deception and intrigue. The world has been excellently built and there are many topics that can be expanded upon. I really liked the politics and the various religions and the general lore.
