This hits personally for me over and over and over again. I love Vivek’s prose, her brutality, and her introspection of herself as she works through how she has, always has, been shaped by the power of men. As someone who didn’t come out as trans until 28, almost 30 like Vivek, I think about this a lot, and seeing someone else think about it is both refreshing and saddening. Again, this is something we just need more of.
