The Train to Impossible Places by P.G. Bell

3.0

As another reviewer stated, I’d probably give this book closer to 3.5 stars if I could. Characters Suzy and Wilmot are lovable and you’ll be rooting for them until the very end. Plus the world built in The Train to Impossible Places is vast, diverse, and creative. However, at times, it’s also rather confusing and so broad that it deters from the focus of the story. Many times the author is also “telling” about all the wondrous aspects of this world rather then “showing” so it makes visualizing a setting tough. Overall, a good read, but misses the mark as a new classic
