This book is just... everything. I usually don't love romances, specifically the straight kind (lesbian here), but a book about a fat, not chubby or curvy, FAT woman having an incredible romance with incredible sex with a conventionally attractive star of a man??? YES. The indulgence of it all. The pure unbridled joy of reading about someone who looks like you being independent, holding her own, and getting the guy is intoxicating. I wish I had books like this when I was 18. It did a huge favor for my own self-confidence.

This book is by no means some literary masterpiece, but it was not written to be either. This was pure wish-fulfillment and I needed it. Hell yes. This is the romance I can get behind. Dade gave me things I didn't even know I wanted or needed, and I can't wait to read her next book, which ALSO is about an unconventionally attractive woman. 

I think this is my new comfort read. And sexy read... (those explicit scenes were PHENOMENAL).
