The Dawkins Delusion?: Atheist Fundamentalism and the Denial of the Divine by Alister McGrath, Joanna Collicutt McGrath

4.0

A Very Objectively Balanced Rebuttal of Richard Dawkins’ God Delusion

I’d first of all like to point out I am both a former Dawkins fan and former atheist.

McGrath makes an excellent case that Dawkins’ critique of religion and faith is based in a lot of inaccurate information, stereotypes and ignorance. I used to believe in a lot of the narratives Dawkins would have all atheists believe. This just goes to,show just how over-rated The God Delusion truly was.

The Dawkins Delusion isn’t right about everything in my view, I can’t say I agree with everything McGrath says. But I agree with about 90% of what he says here. I recommend reading this book for an alternative view to the God Delusion.
