I quite enjoyed this little book. There is not a ton that happens but I just really liked existing in this setting for a short while. Takako loses her boyfriend and her job at the same time which is a major bummer - but her adorable uncle then invites her to stay in a room above his used bookshop while she takes a break from normal life. She works at the store to cover her room and board, and reads tons of books. Honestly. What a dream getaway.
