Legacy Lost by Anna Banks

This was just dumb. In the books you keep hearing that Grom and Nalia loved each other so much, but in this short story they meet once as children and hate each other, and don't see each other again until they're adults and Grom likes her because she is pretty. I find it impossible to believe that in a world with only two kingdoms, the young prince and princess who are promised to each other haven't seen each other since they were children, especially if their parents are such close friends.

The scene where Nalia ends up in the mine was well written, but overall it was way too contradictory with the novels.
