An incredibly fun and magical locked room/shipboard murder mystery romance.
This series is a blast. It took me a little while to get back into the swing of things and re-familiarise myself with the world, magic system and backstory but once I did, I had such a good time. It was sarcastic, action packed and surprisingly steamy. I admittedly struggled a little following who was who for some of the side characters but adored Maud and Violet. I'm definitely looking forward to book three!
