Lustlocked by Matt Wallace
5.0
I judged a book by its cover on this one and chose Lustlocked because the art looked cool. I am so so glad I did. Matt Wallace has created a fantastical world where anything can and usually does happen. Just when you think you are getting a handle on the book's direction, it wooshes off somewhere else. I love that!
This is the second book in the Sin Du Jour series, but I hadn't read the first one prior to picking this one up, and I don't think it mattered. I did go back and read it afterwards and found it equally hysterical.
Honestly, I think my only complaint is it was too short and there isn't another one to read afterwards. And that the food descriptions made me super hungry.
Note: This book was provided to me by the publisher free of charge in exchange for an honest review. Real talk though - I spent the money and bought it and Envy of Angels myself after reading it - it was that good.
