The Black Moth by Georgette Heyer

1.0

This book was mostly okay, but I didn't like that everyone sat down to break bread with the villain at the end. Okay, technically, he fed them and left, and didn't really eat with them, but he kidnapped and would have forcibly raped a woman to compel her to marry him, but because nobody wants a scandal, he's let off.

Heyer is a fine author, and I enjoy her books more often than not, but the Regency period of England was FULL of idiocy. Goodness.
