I get it -- Hellblazer is Hellblazer, and Constantine is ... not. But how did he get young again? An what about Satan, anyone? He would have a bit to say if some trumped up cultist in a bad costume killed our John. Or is the devil not welcome in this sparkly new DC Universe with lights shooting out from everyone's large pectorals and even larger breasts?
Contrary to what I said above, I really can let go of the past for a good reboot. What I can't forgive is bad storytelling. Since half of the story here seems to be told in some other series of the "New 52," much of what is left is incomprehensible. John deserves his own stories without "the costumes" mucking it all up -- or forcing readers to buy 5 different books just to get one disjointed narrative.
