I liked this book a lot. I don't really understand the negative reviews. I've read all of George's Inspector Lynley novels and love them, and yes, this book is different, but I loved it, too. It didn't feel "dumbed down" to me at all, and I was very interested in the mystery. I'm looking forward to the sequel. I initially had misgivings when I saw it was YA, but I honestly feel like it was a good book for anyone, not just YA.
