not sure if i like any of the characters in this book or if i understood exactly why on earth none of them know what they want or can commit but i could not put it down.

thought it would be gay gay gay and then when frances and nick happened i was very confused. then i was rooting for frances and bobbi again and then at the end i was simply confused. if this is what relationships are like i don’t want them

sally rooney is the queen of writing about characters that are kind of insufferable but writing about them so well that you still cannot put the book down and it does feel very real because a lot of people are insufferable
