Superb concept and a great graphic novel in terms of the drawings, but having not read the full text, it all felt a little rushed and hollow. I think it’s an unfortunate consequence of the text being dramatically cut down and edited for the graphic novel medium.
It’s made me eager to read the original book, and I think I’d have got a lot more out of this if I’d had read it beforehand.
