ARC REVIEW...
The ending.. WOW..*pacing frantically*..okay let's start from the beginning..I was very confused until about 30% (Cresent City 1 level confused). Loottss of world building in the beginning; different gods, history of the lands and gods, and names! For me, at about 30% it started flowing. The story is AMAZING! Waverly is so..human. We get to journey with Waverly as she navigates this new life of awakening the goddess who embodies her while trying not to lose her true self. When we are first introduced to her found family (>30%) it was confusing as their birth names, titles within their unit, and their god names are used. It got easier to distinguish as the story continues. Waverly goes through trainings and trials, learning all she can about her unit. Overtime, she struggles to ignore her feelings towards the General. Will duty or love triumph?
