Review for abridged German audiobook:
It felt all over the place and left out many important details. However, it was much easier to read than the unabridged English version for the following reason: most of the assault was more digestible (still awful naturally). It left out some of the assaults and kept others. I was glad for the reprieve. The English version has been unreadable for me due to the various assaults mentioned in the book. So if you are sensitive to sexual violence please be aware. It is not graphically discussed, but it is still present.
