Mindblowing, Twisted and insane!!!
I loved this!!!! Every chapter, every flashback & definitely every secret slowly being unraveled to unveil the grander scheme of things!!!!
When I read Corrupt and then Hidwaway, I honestly thought there was no way in hell that Penelope Douglas could redeem Damon Torrance for all the shit he’s done. Especially to Will!!!!! But motherfucker was I wrong!!!! By chapter 5 was I was hook line and sinker!!! By chapter 15 I was unconditionally in love with this man!!!
There’s a darkness in Damon that is both eerily scary to face but thrilling and pulls you in so you can’t run away. He has a raw open twisted darkness and selfishness embedded in him that most people will never be brave enough to accept and empower. But then again maybe that’s how sociopaths are made. Because that’s exactly what he is, an unapologetic sociopath and I’m absolutely sure every single reader fell for him.
He just might be my favorite Horseman ever written.
