After reading this book, I want Maggie's life. This is such a warm book to read, it is full of humor and joy, and the characters are so loveable (especially Maggie!) and no matter how you may view them at first, they all grow on you. The author masterfully wove a tale of finding yourself no matter your age or where you are at in life, but also included racial issues relating to classic books, and the lives and tales that have been hidden from the world. The fact that
classics books only being allowed at the bookstore means that there are no poc authors and one of the coowners had no problem with that!!!
Maggie fought to be heard and for the people of the town, she was truly passionate about her newfound job, and it was so inspiring. I want to be like Maggie when I get my life together.

This is a really funny read, and you will come out of this book a better person then you went in.
