1000 Years of Joys and Sorrows by Ai Weiwei

Did not finish book.

This autobiography reads as a dutiful and rather dull accounting of an exceptional life lived out in exceptional times. I admire Ai Weiwei's art and his resistance to the regime, but he lacks his father's rare genius for written expression.
