‘i do what i want, when i want. and i don't give a shit what people think about me.’

i honestly didn’t really like the first two books but i loved this one! there’s something about dean heyward di laurentis that i love, i just know he’s so hot.

Allie's facing a post-college crisis and a heartbreak. She's drawn to charming hockey star Dean for a wild night, but commitment isn't on her agenda. Dean's used to winning hearts effortlessly, but Allie's not falling for his usual tactics. Despite unexpected twists, Dean considers shifting his focus from scoring to finding love.

‘i thought you said you didn't want to... and dean di laurentis only does what he wants, remember?’

i literally fell in love with dean! i mean we understand that he is the typical manwh*re athlete but he changed for her. i repeat HE CHANGED FOR HER! i really enjoyed the relationship between allie and dean, it was such a cute relationship. i was so happy that dean wasn’t the rude type even before he realised he liked allie. he was always respectful and always helped especially her problems with sean, which i felt like garret and logan didn’t. i don’t care what a man does, but i’m a sucker for sweethearts and dean was the biggest one!

‘i am doing what i want. i’m making you happy.’

one thing i didn’t like was that i felt like allie didn’t really contribute to anything, she was kind of there despite being the main character. her whole personality was that she had never been alone and is in constant long term relationships. i wish we were able to see more of her acting and more of her in general!

the writing was plain good. i mean she’s not going to win an award for the best written piece of literature. but it was simple and easy, which i really enjoyed. i feel like if you want a quick romance read that isn’t really different with the same plot just different font, this series would be for you! and sometimes that’s what a girl wants 😚
