River Road by Jayne Ann Krentz
4.0
Very enjoyable read. Classic Krentz.
One thing I've never understood about her books- no matter what time period she sets her people in, the heroine always wears a nightgown and I always picture it as a cotton, shapeless dress that goes below the knees. I don't know, maybe I'm just picturing this wrong and it's actually not ugly, but I don't get it. I've truly never met someone who wears a nightgown who isn't 85. Am I wrong? Are nightgowns common? Personally, I'm a big shirt person or a tank and shorts person. Am I crazy?
