I can’t say too much without giving too much away but I enjoyed this book. I went into it not getting much from the blurb (which I’m sure is designed exactly the way it was for a reason 😉) & also wasn’t sure how I’d like Lenny’s story. After a few chapters I realized a trope I don’t generally care for was in here but at that point I was already invested so it didn’t bother me. The characters in here are some of my favorites, mainly Grandpa Gus but I also ended up really loving Lenny (mostly), Jonah & Peter. The family dynamics & love that they all share was one for the books. This story was totally heartwarming & literally had me laughing out loud throughout the entire book. Then the Epilogue happened & that literally had me balling my eyes out from beginning to end. If you like family, fun, quirky characters this is the book for you.
Moderate: Abandonment
Minor: Death and Homophobia
