Okay… Even 25% in, I knew I’d like this simply because Indya and West had so much history and I am an absolute sucker for any childhood friends or second chance romances. But we’d in a little dirt and horses and I’m a goner.

I fell so hard for these two and this story was so emotional… I felt so much of the angst and the longing. There is something really special about childhood friends with years of history and feelings towards one another. All of those milestones experienced together and growing up loving each other… it doesn’t get better than that.

The intimacy and spice in this book was also absolutely perfect. No notes.

Indya’s dad broke my heart. I knew that was coming and I was only hoping something would cushion the blow a little. When she did it, she drove that knife DEEP. But it was still so beautiful.

And you know what? No third act breakup. These two deserved a happy ending but they had to be apart and say goodbye their hole life’s so I was so happy we avoided seeing a needless breakup before they could figure it out.

I think this one is going to be taking up some precious brain space for a while. Did it make me cry? Yes. Did it also feel like the longest warm hug? Also yes. And love it so much. 🥰
