RoomHate by Penelope Ward

3.0

I stumbled into RoomHate on friends-2-lovers list, but I would label this book more as enemies-2-lovers story, since MCs hate each other more then half the book.

There were some good things and some bad thing in here for me:
+ I liked how the plot developed. Didn't expect that twist. And it's not easy for a romance novel to surprise me these days.
+ Love triangle was handled pretty well.
- Heroine suffers so many insults from hero, like a doormat. I expected more spunk from her.
- Not sure if the talk between MCs could be called banter. it was sometimes just plain exchange of insults.
- It dragged on at times.

In the end, I am not sorry I have read it, but I am not in a hurry to read the next book by Penelope Ward either.
